Childrens Church Update       

     If you have not been at church in a while then you are clearly missing out!  We have accomplished much over this last year.  Our children’s church room is close to being completed.  It has been custom painted with each one of the children’s handprints.

     We have had fun putting in a ‘Magnetic Chalk Board’ Wall.  The kids really love that.  Plus we added a basketball hoop.  So it is a pleasure to finish our lesson and to have some ‘Free Time’. 

     This summer our teaching has included the ‘children of Israel’.  It took them 40 years to get through the desert.  It took us the better part of 3 months.  We were glad to finally get them out of the desert!  

   This fall our teaching has been centered a round the life of Samson (being careful not to go into Delilah’s seduction), but rather Samson’s actions. 

     In progress yet is a full size puppet stage and a ‘flannel graph’ wall to be completed. 

     The new looks in the room has created a fresh,  fun feeling in the room!

 Sanctuary Update

     How long has it been since you worshipped with us? Are you aware that we moved the Sanctuary?  If you have not seen it in it’s new setting then it has been too long since you have visited up! 

     We knew that a lot of you needed a little more space than we had in the room.  It feels and looks much more like a sanctuary now.  You will enjoy it!

Clinic Update

We opened the ‘Free Medical’ clinic in April  this year.  We are open one day a week, every Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM.   

Since April we have seen over 1100 patients.  Last week we had a record of 44! 

The clinic is entirely self-supporting now!  This helps out the church and allows us to concentrate on just the church’s growth. 

We have also starting to receive the rewards of our efforts… Pastor Dave was so proud of himself when he received his first grant!  It was a small grant from the LTBB, but it was a start and only the beginning. 

.   Wednesday Midweek:

On Wednesday night we are having a time of study, followed by a time of prayer.  We are currently studying events in the news.  So if you have a newspaper article that you would like to discuss, as well as, a topic, please bring it in and we will discuss it.
